Why Lebanon Needs a New Health Communication Strategy.
From Health Noise to Health Strategy
In Lebanon today, we don’t have a clear health narrative. We have health noise.
Every day, social media feeds are flooded with self-proclaimed wellness experts promoting advice that’s scientifically wrong, potentially dangerous, or, at best, utterly confusing.
No one is fact-checking.
No one is translating science into real-world context.
And worst of all?
No one is filling the gap.
The Truth About Health Communication in Lebanon
Here’s the reality:
Lebanon lacks a public-facing health communication voice.
The Ministry of Public Health's content is dry, disconnected, or invisible.
Most physicians aren’t present online, or if they are, they aren’t being heard.
That vacuum?
It’s being filled rapidly by influencers, TikTokers, and marketers who know how to go viral, but not how to be right.
Why MedWrite Was Created
As an MD and a medical writer, I didn’t pivot into medical communications because it was trendy. I did it because there was no one doing it correctly.
That’s why I built MedWrite:
To bridge the science and the story.
To make evidence-based content not just accurate, but relevant.
To take back the health narrative, one well-crafted post, infographic, or campaign at a time.
If You're Serious About Health Communication, Let's Talk
If you’re a healthcare brand, doctor, startup, pharmaceutical carrier, or pharmacist looking to do better, we need to talk.
Because Lebanon doesn’t need more noise.
It needs strategy.
It needs accuracy.
It needs impact.
And the time to build that was yesterday.
